Food Matters

Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

I just viewed a video from mercola.com titled food matters. It was thought provoking in a very profound way. I will probably change my diet, again based upon the insights provided here. I am already a subscriber to the do-it-yourself concept of health and wellness. Modifications I will take home from this video will be and increase in organic foods, more raw foods, probably juicing, drinking green tea. What was affirmed for me was tuning in to myself to feel what feels right, good for me. We tend to get off our paths when we take our bodies for granted. My diet is listed under personal training at my website.

Dis-ease

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

Illness is caused by dis-ease.

Dis-ease is the negation of our natural state of ease.

Dis-ease is negative thinking, a mistake.

By the time the body becomes ill we are way beyond the awareness of the cause of the illness, fear, false thinking or wrong thinking.

1. Wrong thinking is expectations or a sense of entitlement.

2. This causes our peace to be disturbed and to judge the situation as wrong.

3. These negative thoughts cause me to create and maintain a grievance, perceiving myself as a victim.

4. This comes to the emotional level by verbalizing and reliving the grievance.

5. This brings us to the physical plane and the manifestation of an illness.

Once the process has reached the physical level it is very difficult to turn it around with thoughts and emotions. Often physical medicine is needed.

Interventions before the physical level should be focusing on the return to peace. To not judge the situation. To see the whole universe as the perfect manifestation of God.

The interventions is based upon awareness. Observing the ego in action as the victim. Awareness and witnessing the perfection of the universe is the meaning of life in this form we have taken.

Sometimes I find myself aware when I’m invaded by illness (virus etc) but I am unable to do anything about it because my wrong thinking has already weakened me and I cannot stop the illness or disease.

The earlier the intervention the better. Correcting wrong thinking is simple but not exactly easy. This is, however the goal. Positive thinking, embracing the perfection is the goal. Correct the wrong thinking (negative thoughts, the mistake) with right thought faith in the perfection of all that is.

Deal with it and move on.

Sometimes we see ourselves best in the eyes of others.

Rosemary frequently uses my throw away comments for guidance. Maybe I should pay more attention to what comes out of my mouth.

Deal with it and move on is one of those statements that came out of my mouth if not my mind. My ego would love to take credit for it but it came from someplace else.

In life I encounter outcomes of my decisions that are not expected or even positive. Many times I have agonized and obsessed over my competence or intelligence when an outcome goes sideways in some unexpected way. This path is long and often unfruitful yielding no insight worth the time. Sometimes we just don’t understand the outcome we are not ready and so it is time to deal with it and move on.

I always like an example: I had an insight to sell Lockheed Martin stock and so I did. Almost immediately the stock went up 10%. There was no indication that this would happen. This often happens in the market so…. “deal with it and move on”.

Wallace Wattles

Wallace Wattles wrote a book called Financial Success: Harnessing the power of creative thought in 1910: Quoting: There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates and fills the interspaces of the universe…in order to do this the person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind.
He further states if you are competitive rather than creative you are stuck competing with others for what has already been created.
Interesting, creativity breaks new ground while competition is fighting with others to steal what is already created.

The Zumba Adventure

Sunday, October 17th, 2010

I need a Zumba instructor for Hanscom AFB in Bedford MA at the Fitness Center. I’ve been trying to find someone on the Zumba site where you can send email to certified instructors. It seems to be a slow tedious process with a low percentage of responses and no positive responses. So I will persist. It might be less time consuming to get the certification myself and teach the class. Too bad it is not on my path.

The Massage School

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

For the past 2 months I have been attending The Massage School in Acton Massachusetts. It has been an enormous learning experience and a lot of fun. I guess I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started. I had met Alexei and Valerie when I interviewed out in Easthampton MA for 20 minutes. I wasn’t able to get a clear read in the time there. They seemed like nice people, and of course I was trying to act normal not like a wacky yoga teacher. So I expected a lot of rubbing but not much spirituality or philosophical depth. I liked what I saw but I really had no idea how much a part of the new age philosophy they practice.
Alexei teaches his protocol with a quiet self assurance backed by a lot of experience. His corrections are low key and precise and frequent. Which is what I really want, an education, a sharing of experience and knowledge.
Valerie is fabulous, she is almost completely deaf and yet it is rarely noticeable. Her love of the Monroe Institute endeared her to me for many incarnations to come. Valerie is looking to produce a legion of light workers to heal the world. She might heal the universe as well.
Tika is the prize pupil. She is the earth mother who brings the practical real world application and modifications needed to make it all work. Her modifications give another perspective on the protocol and keep it strong and adaptable.
My classmates are a joy. There are 13 of us (3 men and 10 women). A very close knit group. I have learned a great deal from everyone in the class. The group is remarkably non-competitive (non-fearful) and supportive of one another. There is some sort of critical mass with class clowns in this group which leads to some remarkably funny banter.
The cost is exceedingly low compared to the other (big corporate) schools and the education is excellent and fun.
